The Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-Based Preventive Controls for Food for Animals regulation (referred to as the Preventive Controls for Animal Food regulation) is intended to ensure safe manufacturing, processing, packing and holding of food products for animal consumption in the United States.
The regulation requires that certain activities must be completed by a “preventive controls qualified individual (PCQI)” who has “successfully completed training in the development and application of risk-based preventive controls at least equivalent to that received under a standardized curriculum recognized as adequate by FDA, or is otherwise qualified through job experience to develop and apply a food safety system”.
The Part 2: Instructor-Led Session is a review of the chapters from the FSPCA Preventive Controls for Animal Food Participant Blended Course Part 1. This course will address questions that you may have related to the material covered in the Part 1: Online course. You also will complete exercises applying the knowledge that you gained through the course materials.
You will need a computer with internet access that is setup to run Zoom Meetings. Webcam and audio connection are required. A stable internet connection is required.
